Cheesy Meatball Macaroni Recipe


This cheesy meatball macaroni is the ultimate comfort food that brings together tender, juicy meatballs and creamy, rich macaroni covered in melted cheese. Ingredients

For the meatballs:

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the macaroni:

  • 300 g macaroni pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the meatballs

  • Mix ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Form small meatballs.
  • Cook in a pan until browned and fully cooked. Set aside.

2. Cook the pasta

  • Boil macaroni in salted water according to package instructions.
  • Drain and set aside.

3. Make the cheese sauce

  • Melt butter in a pan.
  • Add flour and stir for 1 minute.
  • Slowly add milk while stirring until thick.
  • Add cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Stir until melted.

4. Combine and bake

  • Mix pasta with cheese sauce.
  • Add meatballs and mix gently.
  • Place in baking dish and bake at 180°C for 15 minutes.

5. Serve

  • Serve hot and enjoy your creamy, cheesy meatball macaroni.
