For the Pasta
- 12 oz (340 g) fettuccine or spaghetti
- Water & salt for boiling
For the Shrimp
- 1 lb (450 g) shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
For the Alfredo Sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
For Serving (Optional)
- Steamed broccoli
- Garlic toast or bread
- Chopped parsley

Cook the pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. -
Cook the shrimp
Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season shrimp with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside. -
Make the Alfredo sauce
