  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
  • ½ cup tomato sauce

For the Cheese Filling:

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese or cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the Topping:

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream or cooking cream
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook the pasta sheets or manicotti according to package instructions until slightly tender.
  3. Drain and set aside on a clean surface to cool.

Step 2: Prepare the Meat Filling

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until soft.
  3. Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add ground meat and cook until browned.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  6. Stir in tomato sauce and cook for 3–4 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Step 3: Prepare the Cheese Mixture

  1. In a bowl, mix ricotta (or cream cheese), mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
  2. Stir until smooth and well combined.

Step 4: Assemble the Pasta Rolls

  1. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  2. Place a portion of meat filling and cheese mixture onto each pasta sheet.
  3. Roll the pasta tightly and place it seam-side down in the baking dish.

Step 5: Add Topping and Bake

  1. Mix heavy cream with tomato sauce and pour it over the pasta rolls.
  2. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  3. Cover with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 25 minutes.
  4. Remove foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
