🧂 Crispy Homemade Crackers

🥣 Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp oil or melted butter
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp sugar (optional)
  • ¼ cup water (add little by little)

(Optional flavors: sesame seeds, cumin, cheese powder)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour + salt + sugar.
  3. Add oil/butter, then water slowly until you get a smooth dough.
  4. Roll dough very thin on a floured surface.
  5. Cut into round shapes (use a glass or cutter).
  6. Prick with a fork (important so they stay flat).
  7. Place on baking tray.
  8. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden and crispy.
  9. Let cool → they get crispier 😋

🔥 Tips

  • For cheese crackers: add 2 tbsp grated cheese.
  • For herb crackers: add oregano or thyme.
  • Keep in an airtight jar for freshness.
