Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp & Scallops

Ingredients

  • 500g large shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 500g sea scallops
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth (or seafood stock)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season seafood
    Season shrimp and scallops with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

  2. Sear
    Heat olive oil in a large skillet.
    Sear scallops 2–3 min per side until golden. Remove.
    Sear shrimp 1–2 min per side. Remove.

  3. Make the sauce
    In same pan, melt butter.
    Add garlic and sautรฉ 30 seconds.
    Add chicken broth, cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, lemon juice.

  4. Simmer
    Let sauce simmer 3–5 minutes until thick.

  5. Combine
    Add shrimp & scallops back to pan.
    Simmer 2 minutes.

  6. Garnish
    Sprinkle parsley and serve hot.


Serve with:

  • Pasta ๐Ÿ
  • Rice ๐Ÿš
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Or crusty bread for dipping ๐Ÿ˜
