Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp & Scallops
Ingredients
- 500g large shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 500g sea scallops
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth (or seafood stock)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions

Season seafood
Season shrimp and scallops with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. -
Sear
Heat olive oil in a large skillet.
Sear scallops 2–3 min per side until golden. Remove.
Sear shrimp 1–2 min per side. Remove. -
Make the sauce
In same pan, melt butter.
Add garlic and sautรฉ 30 seconds.
Add chicken broth, cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, lemon juice. -
Simmer
Let sauce simmer 3–5 minutes until thick. -
Combine
Add shrimp & scallops back to pan.
Simmer 2 minutes. -
Garnish
Sprinkle parsley and serve hot.
Serve with:
- Pasta ๐
- Rice ๐
- Mashed potatoes
- Or crusty bread for dipping ๐
