🍗 Chicken Fried Rice
Ingredients
For the Rice
- 3 cups cooked rice (cold rice works best)
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup white onion, finely chopped
- ½ cup green onions (spring onions)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
For the Chicken Marinade
- 1 chicken breast, cut into small cubes
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon oil
- A pinch of black pepper
Instructions

Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, mix the chicken with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, oil, and black pepper.
Let it rest for 10–15 minutes. -
Cook the Chicken
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated chicken and cook until golden and fully cooked.
Remove from the pan and set aside. -
Prepare the Rice
In the same pan, add the remaining oil.
Add garlic and onion and sauté until fragrant. -
Add the Rice
Add the cooked rice and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes, breaking up clumps. -
Season
Add soy sauce, black pepper, and sesame oil.
Mix well until the rice is evenly coated. -
Combine
Add the cooked chicken back into the pan.
Toss everything together and cook for another 2 minutes. -
Finish
Add green onions, stir once more, and remove from heat.
Serve Hot & Enjoy! 😋
Perfect as a main meal or a side dish.
