Chicken Fried Rice

 









🍗 Chicken Fried Rice

Ingredients

For the Rice

  • 3 cups cooked rice (cold rice works best)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup white onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup green onions (spring onions)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

For the Chicken Marinade

  • 1 chicken breast, cut into small cubes
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • A pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken
    In a bowl, mix the chicken with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, oil, and black pepper.
    Let it rest for 10–15 minutes.

  2. Cook the Chicken
    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat.
    Add the marinated chicken and cook until golden and fully cooked.
    Remove from the pan and set aside.

  3. Prepare the Rice
    In the same pan, add the remaining oil.
    Add garlic and onion and sauté until fragrant.

  4. Add the Rice
    Add the cooked rice and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes, breaking up clumps.

  5. Season
    Add soy sauce, black pepper, and sesame oil.
    Mix well until the rice is evenly coated.

  6. Combine
    Add the cooked chicken back into the pan.
    Toss everything together and cook for another 2 minutes.

  7. Finish
    Add green onions, stir once more, and remove from heat.


Serve Hot & Enjoy! 😋

Perfect as a main meal or a side dish.
