🍅 1. Marinara Sauce

A rich tomato sauce for pasta, pizza, and dipping.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped

Method Heat olive oil in a pan. Add onion and cook until soft. Add garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, oregano, chili flakes, and sugar.
Let simmer on low for 20–30 minutes. Add basil at the end.
Blend if you want it smooth.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp molasses

  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder

Season and serve hot.

Method Simmer all ingredients except cornstarch.
Add cornstarch mix and cook until thick.
