Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken with Creamy Parmesan Pasta ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿง„๐Ÿงˆ๐Ÿ

๐Ÿงพ Ingredients

Chicken

  • 2 large chicken breasts, sliced
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter ๐Ÿงˆ
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced ๐Ÿง„
  • Zest of 1 lemon + 2 tbsp lemon juice ๐Ÿ‹

Pasta

  • 300 g pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • Salt (for boiling water)

Creamy Parmesan Sauce

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream ๐Ÿฅ›
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese ๐Ÿง€
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿณ Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil + butter in a pan over medium heat.
    Sear chicken 4–5 min per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  4. In same pan, add garlic, sautรฉ 30 seconds.
    Add lemon zest & lemon juice, then butter. Stir well.
  5. Return chicken to pan, coat in lemon garlic butter. Remove again.
  6. Creamy sauce: Add butter, cream, and broth. Simmer 3–4 minutes.
  7. Stir in Parmesan, pepper, garlic powder & seasoning until creamy.
  8. Add pasta (and pasta water if needed). Toss well.
  9. Top with chicken and spoon sauce over.
