🌶️ Jalapeño Cream Cheese Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz / 225g) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
  • 2–3 jalapeños, finely chopped (seeds removed for mild, keep some for heat)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup green onions, sliced
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • Optional: ¼ cup grated Parmesan
  • Optional topping: crushed Ritz crackers or breadcrumbs + melted butter

🥣 Instructions

Baked Version (Hot + Gooey)

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar, garlic, jalapeños, green onions, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Spread into a small baking dish.
  4. (Optional) Mix ¼ cup breadcrumbs with 1 tbsp melted butter and sprinkle on top.
  5. Bake 15–20 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
  6. Serve warm with tortilla chips, toasted bread, or veggies.

Cold Version (Quick + No Bake)

  1. Mix all ingredients well.
  2. Chill 30 minutes for flavors to blend.
  3. Serve with crackers, pretzels, or vegetable sticks.

  • For extra heat → add ½ teaspoon crushed chili flakes or a splash of jalapeño brine.
  • For extra creaminess → add 2 tbsp mayonnaise.
