Homemade Cheese in Just 5 Minutes! 🧀
Ingredients:
- 4 cups (1 liter) milk (full-fat works best)
- 2 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Heat the Milk
- Pour milk into a pot and heat on medium until warm (don’t boil).
2. Add Vinegar/Lemon Juice
- Stir in vinegar or lemon juice and mix gently.
- You’ll see the milk curdling in 1-2 minutes.
3. Strain the Cheese
- Place a cheesecloth or clean towel over a strainer.
- Pour the curdled milk and drain the liquid (whey).
4. Season & Shape
- Sprinkle salt and mix.
- Press lightly to form a block or leave it crumbly.
5. Enjoy!
- Use immediately or chill for a firmer texture.
- Perfect for sandwiches, pasta, or snacking!
