Soft Fried Cream Donuts

 







Ingredients:

- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 2 tablespoons sugar

- 1 teaspoon instant yeast

- ½ teaspoon salt

- 1 egg

- ¾ cup warm milk

- 2 tablespoons butter (softened)

- Oil for frying

For Filling & Coating:

- Custard cream or pastry cream

- Granulated sugar for coating

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.

2. Add egg, warm milk, and butter. Mix until a soft dough forms.

3. Knead the dough for about 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

4. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

5. Roll the dough and divide into small balls. Flatten slightly.

6. Place the dough pieces on a tray, cover, and let them rest for 30 minutes.

7. Heat oil over medium heat and fry each piece until golden on both sides.

8. Remove and drain on paper towels, then coat with sugar.

9. Fill with custard cream using a piping bag.

10. Serve warm and enjoy.
