crispy potato & cheese balls (croquettes)

 








🧀 Crispy Potato Cheese Balls

Ingredients:

  • 3 large potatoes, boiled & mashed
  • 1 cup mozzarella or cheddar cheese (cubed or shredded)
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes with butter, cornflour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Take a small amount, flatten it, add cheese in the center, and form into a ball.
  3. Dip each ball in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Fry in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Tip: Serve with ketchup, mayo, or chili sauce 🔥
