๐ฅ๐ Perfect appetizer for parties or snacks
๐งพ Ingredients
๐ฅ 1 package square wonton wrappers
๐ฆ 8 oz imitation crab
๐ง 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
๐ฑ 5 green onions, thinly sliced
๐ฅ 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
๐ง 1 tsp garlic powder
๐ถ 1 tsp soy sauce
๐ฐ 1 tsp sesame oil
๐ฌ 2 tsp sugar
๐ง 2 tsp salt
⚫ 1 tsp black pepper
๐ข️ Vegetable oil, for frying
๐ Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the crab
๐ฆ Open the imitation crab package. Rinse quickly under cold water (optional) and pat dry with paper towels.
✋ Break apart and shred the crab by hand into a large mixing bowl.
2️⃣ Mix the filling
๐ฑ Add green onions, sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, sesame oil, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
๐ฅฃ Mix thoroughly with a spatula.
๐ง Add softened cream cheese and mix until smooth and well combined.
3️⃣ Assemble the wontons
๐ฅ Cover wonton wrappers with a damp paper towel to prevent drying.
๐ฅ Place about 1½ teaspoons of filling in the center of each wrapper.
๐บ Fold two opposite corners toward each other (don’t touch yet), then fold the remaining two corners up.
๐ค Gently press out air bubbles and pinch all seams together to form a pyramid shape.
➡️ Place on a dry surface and repeat.
4️⃣ Fry
๐ฅ Heat about 1½ inches of oil in a skillet over medium to medium-high heat.
๐ฅ Fry in batches for 2–4 minutes, turning until golden brown on all sides.
5️⃣ Drain & serve
๐งป Transfer to a paper towel–lined plate, placing Rangoon upside down to drain excess oil.
⏳ Let cool for 5–8 minutes.
๐ฝ️ Serve immediately with sweet & sour sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
