Braised Beef Short Ribs (Fall-Off-The-Bone)
Ingredients:
- 1.5–2 kg beef short ribs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & black pepper
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup red wine (or more broth)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar or honey
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary
- 2 bay leaves
- Chili flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Sear the ribs
Season ribs with salt & pepper.
Heat oil in a heavy pot and brown ribs on all sides (3–4 min per side).
Remove and set aside.
