  • 2 lobster tails (cut in half lengthwise)
  • 250–300 g sea scallops (patted very dry)
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4–5 garlic cloves (minced)
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Fresh parsley (chopped)

  1. Prep

    • Season lobster and scallops with salt, pepper, and paprika.
    • Make sure scallops are very dry for a good sear.
  2. Sear Scallops

    • Heat olive oil + 1 tbsp butter in a hot pan.
    • Sear scallops 1½–2 minutes per side until golden.
    • Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook Lobster

    • In the same pan, add 1 tbsp butter.
    • Place lobster flesh-side down, cook 2–3 minutes.
    • Flip, add remaining butter, garlic, and chili flakes.
    • Spoon garlic butter over lobster for 2–3 minutes until opaque.
  4. Combine

    • Return scallops to the pan.
    • Add lemon juice.
    • Toss gently for 30 seconds.
  5. Finish

    • Sprinkle with parsley.
    • Serve hot with extra garlic butter sauce.
