These chicken drumsticks look incredible — glossy, caramelized, and full of flavor. Here are three recipe options based on what they look like: Honey Garlic, Sticky BBQ, and Moroccan-Inspired. Pick the one you want or I can create a custom version.


🍯 1. Honey Garlic Sticky Drumsticks (looks closest to the photo)

Ingredients

  • 12 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Sticky Sauce

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and olive oil.
  2. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 35 minutes, turning halfway.
  3. Prepare the sauce:
    In a pan melt butter → add garlic → add honey, soy sauce, brown sugar, mustard, lemon juice.
    Simmer 3–4 minutes until thick.
  4. Brush sauce over chicken and return to the oven for 10–15 minutes until caramelized.
  5. Brush again with leftover sauce and sprinkle parsley.

🔥 2. Sticky Oven BBQ Drumsticks

Ingredients

  • 12 drumsticks
  • Salt, pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1–1.5 cups BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with spices.
  2. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 40 minutes.
  3. Mix BBQ sauce + honey + Worcestershire.
  4. Brush sauce, bake 10 minutes.
  5. Brush again and broil 3 minutes to get that sticky shine.

🌿 3. Moroccan-Inspired Sticky Drumsticks (دجاج معسل شوية بحال الطجين)

Ingredients

  • 12 drumsticks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 grated garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley/coriander

Glaze

  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)
  • 2 tbsp lemon
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Mix chicken with spices, garlic, oil.
  2. Bake or pan-sear until nearly cooked (35–40 min).
  3. Reduce glaze in a pan until syrupy.
  4. Coat chicken and bake 10 more minutes to get that sticky color.
