CRISPY HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS
For the Chicken
- 500 g chicken breast or thighs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- Oil for frying
For the Sauce
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp vinegar (optional)
- 1 tsp chili flakes (optional for spice)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Prepare the Chicken
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Dip chicken pieces in egg, then coat well in the dry mixture.
2. Fry the Chicken
- Heat oil on medium-high.
- Fry chicken until golden and crispy.
- Place on paper towel to drain excess oil.
3. Make the Sauce
- In a pan, combine:
honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, brown sugar, vinegar, chili flakes. - Cook on medium heat until it thickens slightly.
4. Combine
- Add fried chicken to the sauce.
- Toss until every piece is coated and glossy.
5. Serve
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley or green onions.
- Serve with rice, fries, or noodles.
