Ingredients:
• 1 kg (2 lbs) beef ribs or short ribs
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 onion, chopped
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 cup beef broth
• ½ cup soy sauce
• 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon tomato paste
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• Salt to taste
• Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the ribs
Season beef ribs with salt, pepper, and paprika.
2️⃣ Sear the meat
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear ribs on all sides until browned. Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Cook aromatics
In the same pan, sauté onion until soft. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
4️⃣ Make the sauce
Add beef broth, soy sauce, honey, and tomato paste. Stir well.
5️⃣ Slow cook
Return ribs to the pan. Cover and simmer on low heat for 1½–2 hours until meat becomes tender.
6️⃣ Serve
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or bread.
