700 g (1½ lb) cod fillets (or any white fish: haddock, hake)
400 g (14 oz) large shrimp, peeled & deveined
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup milk (or more cream for extra richness)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp Italian seasoning or dried thyme
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Preheat oven to 190°C / 375°F.
Lightly grease a baking dish with butter or oil.
Season cod and shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
In a pan, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat.
Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds (don’t brown).
Pour in cream and milk, stir gently.
Add Parmesan and Italian seasoning. Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thick.
Arrange cod and shrimp in the baking dish.
Pour sauce evenly over seafood.
Bake 20–25 minutes, until fish flakes easily and shrimp are pink.
Garnish with parsley and a little lemon juice before serving.
