๐Ÿ“ Ingredients:

For the meatballs:

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Paprika or chili flakes (optional)

For the creamy cheese sauce:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk or cooking cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or mix)
  • 1 small bell pepper, diced
  • 2 green onions or spring onions, chopped
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿณ Instructions:

  1. Prepare the meatballs
    In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and spices.
    Shape into medium-sized meatballs.

  2. Arrange in baking dish
    Place the raw meatballs in a greased baking dish in one layer.

  3. Make the sauce
    In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk (or cream), cheese, bell pepper, green onions, salt, and pepper.

  4. Assemble
    Pour the creamy cheese mixture evenly over the meatballs.

  5. Bake
    Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 35–40 minutes, until golden brown and fully cooked.

  6. Serve
    Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
