๐ฅฉ๐ฅฌ EASY BEEF CABBAGE STIR-FRY
QUICK • FLAVORFUL • BETTER THAN TAKEOUT ๐
๐งพ INGREDIENTS
- 1 LB BEEF (SIRLOIN, FLANK, OR CHUCK), THINLY SLICED
- 3–4 CUPS GREEN CABBAGE, CHOPPED
- 1 SMALL CARROT, SLICED
- 1 SMALL ONION, SLICED
- 3 CLOVES GARLIC, MINCED
- 1 TBSP COOKING OIL
๐ฅฃ SAUCE
- 2 TBSP SOY SAUCE
- 1 TBSP OYSTER SAUCE
- 1 TBSP HOISIN SAUCE
- ½ CUP BEEF BROTH OR WATER
- 1 TSP SESAME OIL
- 1 TSP RED PEPPER FLAKES ๐ถ️
- ½ TSP SUGAR (OPTIONAL)
- BLACK PEPPER, TO TASTE
๐ฉ๐ณ INSTRUCTIONS
1️⃣ SEAR THE BEEF
Heat oil in a hot skillet or wok. Add beef in a single layer and cook 1–2 minutes per side until nicely browned. Remove and set aside.
2️⃣ BLOOM AROMATICS
Add onion and sautรฉ 1–2 minutes. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; cook 20–30 seconds until fragrant.
3️⃣ ADD CARROTS
Stir-fry carrots for 1–2 minutes until slightly tender.
4️⃣ ADD CABBAGE
Add cabbage and stir-fry 2–3 minutes until tender-crisp.
5️⃣ COMBINE & SAUCE
Return beef to the pan. Add sauce ingredients and toss everything together until glossy and heated through (1–2 minutes).
6️⃣ SERVE
Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot with steamed rice ๐
